I really hope that Jin is aware of the fact that this song, and himself, are just brilliant. His voice is so angelic, so sweet, just like the man he is. He always wants everyone to see how confident and happy he is, while actually hiding his real feelings. I used to say this too but then I listened to what BTS said. They have talked about how they distribute lines and it's a joint decision. I love his voice and am so amazed when he sings but he is part of a group and has agency within it! He is a share holder and decided to renew a contract so he must have say and wanted to stay. Please go listen to what BTS says about how they make music :) it's made me happier to know they all decided together

This song is so significant for Jin, it originated from a hard moment for him, it is so painful when you analyze the metaphor thoroughly, however it is so beautiful, deep, it transmits so much to you and gives us lessons once more through its songs of life, courage, hope, trust and love. "Abyss" is an amazing gift from our wonderful Seokjin. I hope with all my soul that he is much better and that he knows that we love him and we are with him and for him!!
