I looked into it myself and found out that he covered his golden mic due to the islamic rule that men are not allowed golden accessories. I would not expect a non Muslim to obey such a rule (That's why I asked for the reason as I did not expect this to be the reason at all.) That is indeed a very culture-sensitive and nice thing. My respect rose once again
