A few days ago my cousin asked me, "Why do you love BTS so much?" I didn't have an answer. It left me wondering for days, what are the reasons. I finally answered her today, "There is no reason because it just happened." You don't need a reason to love them because you will never realise when it happens. I remember the first time I heard them, No More Dream. I was shocked, honestly, by how the lyrics related to almost every lost teenager. Those who are unsure about what they want to be in the future. Maybe that was when I started falling for them, I'm not so sure. Then I started watching their videos and listening to their songs. I remember laughing at their how cute they were or gawking at their charismatic selves on stage. It all lead to this, their letters to us. Even with the language barrier between us, I still cried because I know how hard they must have worked just to be where they are today. I may not understand the hardships they went through but I know they did a lot to be where they are today. I can still feel their sincerity when they read the letters, thanking us for being there. When I see the tears they shed, trying to thank us for supporting them, I cry too, not because I feel sad seeing them cry but because I feel grateful and proud to fall for these dorks who are thankful for us fans. They went to the BBMAs, won Best Artist/Album of the Year awards, went to the Grammys, and so much more! They're gonna continue to break even more records, and I'm just so proud of them. BTS is really a true family. They realy are. They show it. I love them so much. I'm so proud to be an ARMY! :(

It’s 2020 and Im here still watching this video of them. I’ve been an ARMY since 2016 and I remember a lot of stuffs that I did when i started loving them. Loving BTS and being a fan of them is the most beautiful thing i’ve ever done in my life. They became a famous group and has a lot of things to brag about but they stayed humble, that’s why i love them:))

새벽에 이걸보고 눈물흘리는 나😭 멤버들 다 저때 얼마나 힘들었을까 싶어요. 저는 무엇보다 석진님이 편지 읽자마자 울음 터트린게 이해가 가네요. 연기자가 꿈이라 대학교를 들어갔는데 생각지도 못한 가수의 길을 선택했으니.. 당장 눈앞에 보이지 않는 미래가 얼마나 두려웠을까요? 끊임없는 노력으로 지금 이렇게 세계적인 슈퍼스타가 되어 정상의 위치에 자리잡고있으니 이제 울지않았으면해요!

kudos to those armys back then who were with them and are till now

I've only been an ARMY for 5 months now and I remember BTS' music really caught my ears so much, I thought their music was really catchy and stood out from many artists in my opinion, so I decided to get many of their songs, and even scroll through their whole list. I was so interested in learning more about them, who they are as a person, and their personalities, and here I am today literally knowing like almost everything about them. Back then, they were so poor, they struggled a lot, came from a small company and almost disbanded because of how poor they were, got so much hate, BUT instead of stopping, they kept chasing for their dreams and never gave up, and look at where they are now😭 They wanted to write music that will help the world, for those who are struggling and have already helped so many people out through their deep music! I am so proud of BTS, they didn't even expect any of this to happen, but because of ARMYs, they were able to make it. They really do show their love for fans, and try to demonstrate it every way possible. Sure, other artist/idols do as well, but what I see in BTS, wow, I can't even express it. I've never seen any other artist/group showing this much love for their fans, even through letters, through speeches, they never forget to thank ARMYs. After watching this video I could see how much they struggled even if they didn't really want to show it, but fans were always their motivation to keep going. They are the most genuine people I've ever seen in my entire life! I know how hard it must be to show your true self, your feelings, and yourself as a person, but they are trying to tell us to not be shy to show yourself. They want us to show our true self. BTS have told their stories, now it's time we tell ours. So my struggle is so similar to Kookie's (my bias btw). I am a very shy person, I don't want to show my true self, my feelings towards people, and how I feel in general, etc., but after finding BTS, I have learned to not feel self-conscious about what other people might think of me but to just be the person I am. Although it is very hard for me to show that, I try my hardest to do that, because of BTS. They are my motivation in literally almost everything. I've always wanted to become a singer since 9 years old (7 years ago) but was very shy to express it and sing in front of people. BTS have helped me become more confident, especially Jungkook who is setting me a perfect example for me. Thank you so much (gamsamida) Jungkook for setting this example for me, for helping me through the same struggle you used to have, and becoming that person that I want to become someday. I love you so much with all my heart😭 That's why Jungkook is my bias! Kookie is literally like me and we also have the same interests! Tbh he was even the first one to catch my eye in the group! He is such a cute bunny😭 So... the biggest regret I ever made was not supporting BTS a year earlier which is when I heard about them:'( I feel like such an idiot, what was I doing before becoming an ARMY😭 When I think about it, I feel like I have literally missed out on a lot! Although I may have not been an ARMY since the very beginning, I promise to stay with BTS from now on and forever. I am proud to call myself a proud ARMY! I promise to continue showing the love, support, and happiness they deserve and will keep loving, supporting, and fighting for them forever! Saranghae💜 2! 3! Fighting💪
