We know today from Suchwita's Ep12 that when Jin went up the thrust stage, he couldn't hear anything in his in-ear because of the crowd's cheering and being far from the main stage. This explained why he tried adjusting his in-ear when he started singing. Yet, no one could tell he was experiencing difficulties or anxiety because he delivered a flawless, perfect performance. Jin's immense talent, professionalism is underrated. My respect for him just grew again.

Yes! I think that’s why he ran back when he did and the band caught on, so they locked eyes with Jin to help keep him in time. Then he had to run back out onto the thrust stage, but he didn’t show any anxiety at all to the audience. I’m crying. He sounds amazing! The whole performance is amazing.

@@silvia1416xxfrom what I learn, BTS got so much freedom in their music, thats one of the aspects that makes BTS is so different, the members got hundreds credits in songs, you can feel their honest in their music, thats one of reasons people love their music, but BTS just started do solo things these years, to fulfill their soul and enlist military service one by one and BTS gonna back in 2025, a group that will back happier, healthier. For Jin Solo, he has another great, soulful, beautiful songs like Awake, Epiphany, Moon, Abyss. And a soundtrack of Jirisan, a kdrama, that fit for him, Yours. I love it. I love Jin got more confident these years, he know he is a talented, experienced, and great artist, he is that silver voice singer from critics of Grammy, he wasn't like this 7 years ago, he questioned himself a lot in old days, he even felt not worthy of his achievements, even people around him kept told him he was a great singer, a great dancer, great artists, thats the history of he made Abyss. Now, I can feel he got himself more now. I can't wait for what this young gentleman enjoy to show next.I Hope he back from military service safely.

군대가기전에 팬들을 위한 마지막 저 5분 공연을 하기 위해서 40시간인가 72시간인가 하여튼 엄청난 시간을 이동해서 오고갔다는게 참 대단하다고 생각함

I love how Chris Martin truly treats him like a beloved little brother. There is clearly genuine brotherly like affection between them. Such a pure friendship. Jin's little laugh near the end. Makes me smile every time.

I'm 56 years old,mother,grandma even great Grandma .It's been a rough year and I've started to listen to Bts.I always thought it was silly to say music would make that big of influences but it has.When Gin signs the chorus, it reminds me of when I was a young girl listening to popstars of the 70s.Makes me feel young again

I am 53 and I have found they make me happy. They give me hope there are young people who send so much positive messages to the world and can influence a change of perspective in many. By their example and through their music and lyrics they can help many to become better people. I appreciate that. I love their energy, music, relationships, brotherhood, their humbleness, vulnerability, and sincerity, strength and resistance, hard work... They can be, for me, a role model for many. Young and old. I love them and support with all of my heart.

This is the first live performance of this song and the only one before Jin has to leave us for awhile. There's so many feelings knowing that this is probably the last live performance with Jin for awhile. I'm going to miss his voice, his jokes, his laugh, etc. Thank you so much Coldplay for giving Jin a chance to perform The Astronaut live for us, it means more than you will ever know. To our WWH Jin we love you so much and while we will miss you so much we'll be okay and awaiting the day you return. You don't have to worry about us and I'm sure we'll be streaming The Astronaut a lot while you're away.

@@dieniferbareno2589 there's a law in South Korea that requires any able bodied man between the ages of 18-28 to serve in the military. While there are ways to get exempted there currently isn't a way for an idol to get completely exempt. Jin was given a two year delay because of a law created. After his birthday this year Jin won't be able to delay it any longer unless a conclusion by the government was decided. He's starting the process to enlist in the military for 18-21 months depending on what branch he chooses.

This is one of those iconic performances that will never be forgotten. Here I am in October 2023 watching this and crying. Look at that precious young man facing that huge crowd without his other 6 members. And performing with his idol Chris Martin. You know he had to be nervous and also sad to be performing just before leaving for the military. Gosh, my emotions this morning! Here we are on the brink of possuble WWIII and the whole world is coming apart, and this is the song that came to my mind to comfort me. Look at the love on that stage and the audience members --all races, nationalities, languages etc , singing together and only love shown there. If only the world could put aside differences and hatred and come together like that. I pray we have a chance in the future to see such a thing.

What beautiful words. I agree with you this is such a special performance I often wonder what Jin was thinking as he walked out and at the end. I still cry watching this. I am streaming the MV to get Jin to 100m before the anniversary. It should be Army's way of saying thank you xx
