This whole mountain climbing wasn't just for variety or content, Jin really wanted to do this as a symbol of him completing the arduous challenge of national military service, and tell both himself and the world that he's conquered it with flying colours. Man completed his military with so many honors; squad commander, elite warrior, twice promoted early to corporal and sergeant, without any privilege, and with no scandal at all. Similarly, he conquered Hallasan in 7.5hrs, contrary to the average of 9hrs, and even sprinted down the mountain with such light-hearted steps. He was so moved, once at the peak, and once more when he reached the bottom of the mountain and finally completed the hike. Both times he referenced his military while commenting. This whole hike up Korea's highest mountain, was a full representation of Seokjin conquering and completing the most difficult 1.5 years of every Korean man. What a victory, what a man is Kim Seokjin! He may come across as simple and even frivolous, but he's probably the deepest member in BTS behind the camera. So much respect for this man.

"I would climb the highest mountain for you" is a popular saying/adage one would say to someone he/she loves to show the depth of one's love for another. Seokjin LITERALLY climbed the highest mountain in South Korea, 5 days after his military discharge back into civilian life to show his gratitude to ARMY. HE LOVES ARMY SO SO SO MUCH. We don't deserve this sweet, loving, humble, generous, kind-hearted, gentle, beautiful man.

Jin has such a strong mindset. he is humble, compassionate,kind and determined. Such a frikin gem! Im so proud of this guy

What he did, his crew also did with camera in hand. He knows this and respects their hard work. On the other hand, the crew knew that he could have rested for a certain period after the military and he didn't do it, so they have kept their jobs. Mutual respect from professionals...
